Seven years ago, one act of betrayal changed two lives forever.
At a royal banquet, Emma is secretly drugged by her half-sister and deliberately led away from safety. Lost inside the palace grounds, she encounters Prince Henry, who has unknowingly been given the same substance. Neither is fully in control of what follows, and by morning Emma has only fragmented memories, the certainty that someone intended to harm her, and every reason to disappear.
Henry wakes with no memory of the woman's face. His only clue is the necklace she accidentally left behind.
Years later, Emma has built a quiet life far from the royal court. Now a talented healer, she raises her young son Amer alone while keeping the truth of his parentage buried with the memories of that night.
Then royal soldiers arrive at her clinic carrying a dying man.
The moment Emma sees Henry again, the past she escaped becomes impossible to ignore. As she fights to save his life, Henry is closer than ever to the mysterious woman he has searched for and to the son he never knew existed.
What began beneath the full moon becomes a story of hidden parentage, royal betrayal, unresolved memories, and two people forced to confront a night neither of them was allowed to choose.
