Ages ago, every race called Terra Vitae home: humans, elves, dwarves, beastfolk, dragons, fairies and more. Greed and ambition eroded that peace, wars followed wars, and finally a weapon of mass destruction left the planet uninhabitable. The survivors scattered across other worlds and started again. Millennia later, Terra Vitae is little more than a half-forgotten footnote, but not all of its secrets died with it. In a new era of magic, technology, countless races and starships, Zen lives alongside companions who grow ever more important to him. Joining Captain Kaynan and the crew of the Kaynan Caravan, he travels to places he never imagined, from the great city of Ozgur on the neutral planet Ouditors to worlds with their own histories and mysteries. Then a strange incident changes everything: an unknown symbol, an ancient relic from Terra Vitae, and secrets that should have been lost with the old world. As powerful factions start searching for something hidden, Zen and his friends begin to suspect the history they were taught isn't the full truth. Terra Vitae may be dead, but its secrets never vanished, and one day the truth about that lost world will come back.
