Unable to rein in his increasingly wild and defiant daughter, Surya decides to arrange Thara's marriage to Ayaz, his former star student, who is known for being devout, wise, and virtuous. He is certain that only Ayaz can make his daughter a better woman. But Ayaz's family strongly objects to the marriage. In their eyes, Thara is just a rebellious girl who will stain the family's good reputation. Even so, Ayaz cannot turn down the request of his teacher—the man who has meant so much in his life. For Thara, though, the marriage is not the start of happiness but the end of her freedom. She swears she will never accept Ayaz as her husband. Ayaz, for his part, never plans to change Thara by force. To him, a wife is a sacred trust to be protected, not controlled. But... can love bloom between two hearts forced together? Or will this marriage ruin them both? "Stay out of my business! I never wanted this marriage." "I never asked for this marriage either. But if Allah has destined you to be my wife, then protecting you is my duty. Even if you hate me, I won't give up that easily."
